To bring together Italians residing in the municipality of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and all those who love the Italian culture and language, without any prejudice.
We give the opportunity to take pride in one's family origins by practicing the Italian language, encouraging friendship among members and promoting the culture and traditions of Italy, maintaining it for future generations. Furthermore, the cultural diversity from region to region will, through the exchange of information, not only become familiar to those who have never been exposed to it, but promote a better understanding of different traditions and customs and in some cases even of mentalities.
The Club wants to be a social gathering where all of the above can happen.

As members of the Club,
not only will you have the opportunity to practice the language by meeting other Italians but you will also have access to Italian courses at various levels that the Club offers at preferential costs. This way you can either improve your level of Italian or learn the language from the beginning (Click on the link below). Our Christmas Market, 2025 edition, was a great success! More than 500 visitors stepped into the magic of the holidays!
Fourteen talented artisans presented their unique creations: perfect gifts to offer at Christmas or to treat yourself. At their arrival, the visitors were wrapped in the warmth and joy of an old-fashioned Christmas, complete with festive music, delicious hot chocolate for the kids, and plenty of seasonal cheer!
Some lucky visitors received a $10 voucher and, when all visitors voted for their favorite display, they had the change of winning a beautiful Christmas basket offered by Salina Alimentari. The artisan of the favorite display won $100!
We were all able to celebrate the Italian Christmas spirit.
See you next year!

The Red Velvet Chair started with a delicious pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) soup and a good glass of wine that we tasted while taking the time to catch up since our last meeting.
The film we chose with Nino Manfredi is a beautiful comedy that tells the story of an Italian immigrant who arrives in Switzerland to be able to work and where he builds a new life, facing all the usual difficulties and problems to adapt.
We wanted to dedicate this film to all the grandparents and fathers who undertook the long journey to this country many years ago, so that they could rebuild a happy life, facing difficulties, a new language, different habits and many difficulties.
We had a good laugh and the chocolate covered popcorn was delicious!
To be repeated!

This year's delicious BBQ was held in a beautiful garden setting. An extensive menu included porchetta, beef and shrimp skewers, burgers, pizzas, salads, many desserts and good wine for our members, and their family and friends, to enjoy.

The club went bowling! The event for friends and family was a lot of fun for everyone. There were prizes for the best score in the small and large balls.

We played a game that is based on an old game we all know from the past:
Tombola, (a BINGO type game).... but it is not Tombola.
The game consisted of finding the places where you, your
parents and/or your grandparents came from.
We used a very special map of Italy, and we had a lot of fun while finding our roots.

Our 2nd annual SCOPA tournament was held after reviewing the rules of the game.
Fun was had by all who came.
The winners were Vincenza and her mother Francesca.
Congratulations!

The Christmas Market at the Hudson Creative Hub had a great turn out. Visitors were able to taste italian products and shop. The vendors had a great day!

For our first Red Velvet Chair event we watched a short documentary on Sophia Loren.
The winning team for our final Trivia Contest of the year was Luigi, Miralda and Adele. Their three names were entered in the draw for the grand prize of A Night Under The Stars, a one night stay at the Montreal Hilton. Congratulations to Adele who was the lucky winner.
Our first meeting of the new season was amazing. We had the wonderful Michael Feher Jazz Band playing while we ate, danced and caught up with each other. In between sets we had author Claudio Antonelli who lives in Montreal now, but spent a few years in Hudson. He shared some of his entertaining stories with us.
Also, our first "La Storia Siamo Noi" speaker was Henry Lemmetti . We were intrigued and impressed by his work at Concordia University.
We offered a free pesto pasta, and some coffee and sweets for our opening meeting.
We celebrated our final meeting of the 1st year with a BBQ with sausages, burgers, salads and treats for our members and their family and friends.
Our guest speaker, Binky from the Flower Crocery spoke about gardening, plants and edible flowers.

April's region was Lombardi. We enjoyed a spaghettata, dessert and played a variety of games that our members chose.
