Il delizioso barbecue di quest'anno si è tenuto in un bellissimo giardino. Un ampio menu comprendeva porchetta, spiedini di manzo e gamberi, hamburger, pizze, insalate, molti dolci e buon vino per i nostri membri, la loro famiglia e i loro amici da gustare.
This year's delicious BBQ was held in a beautiful garden setting. An extensive menu included porchetta, beef and shrimp skewers, burgers, pizzas, salads, many desserts and good wine for our members, and their family and friends, to enjoy.

Il club è andato a giocare a bowling. I'evento per amici e familiari è stato molto divertente per tutti. C'erano premi per il punteggio migliore nelle palline piccole e in quelle più grandi.
The club went bowling. The event for friends and family was a lot of fun for everyone. There were prizes for the best score in the small and large balls.
23 FEBBRAIO 2025 - GIOCA DI TOMBOLA
Abbiamo giocato a un gioco che si basa su un vecchio gioco che tutti conosciamo dal passato:
Tombola, (un gioco tipo BINGO) ma non è Tombola.
Il gioco consisteva nel trovare i luoghi da cui provenivano tu, i tuoi genitori e/o i tuoi nonni.
Abbiamo usato una mappa molto speciale dell'Italia e ci siamo divertiti molto a trovare le nostre radici.
We played a game that is based on an old game we all know from the past:
Tombola, (a BINGO type game).... but it is not Tombola.
The game consisted of finding the places where you, your
parents and/or your grandparents came from.
We used a very special map of Italy, and we had a lot of fun while finding our roots.

Il nostro 2° torneo annuale SCOPA si è tenuto dopo aver rivisto le regole del gioco.
Tutti coloro che sono venuti si sono divertiti.
Le vincitrici sono state Vincenza e sua madre Francesca.

Our 2nd annual SCOPA tournament was held after reviewing the rules of the game.
Fun was had by all who came.

Il Christmas Market all'Hudson Creative Hub ha avuto un'ottima affluenza. I visitatori hanno potuto assaggiare prodotti italiani e fare shopping. I venditori si sono divertiti un mondo!
The Christmas Market at the Hudson Creative Hub had a great turn out. Visitors were able to taste italian products and shop. The vendors had a great day!

Per il nostro primo "La Poltrona Rossa" abbiamo guardato un breve documentario su Sophia Loren.
La squadra vincitrice del nostro ultimo Trivia Contest dell'anno è stata Luigi, Miralda e Adele. I loro tre nomi sono stati inseriti nell'estrazione del primo premio di Una Notte Sotto le Stelle, un soggiorno di una notte al; Hilton di Montreal. Congratulazioni ad Adele che è stata la fortunata vincitrice.
For our first Red Velvet Chair event we watched a short documentary on Sophia Loren.
The winning team for our final Trivia Contest of the year was Luigi, Miralda and Adele. Their three names were entered in the draw for the grand prize of A Night Under The Stars, a one night stay at the Montreal Hilton. Congratulations to Adele who was the lucky winner.

Il nostro primo incontro della nuova stagione è stato fantastico. Abbiamo avuto la meravigliosa Michael Feher Jazz Band che suonava mentre mangiavamo, ballavamo e ci incontravamo. Tra un set e l'altro avevamo Claudio Antonelli , uno scrittore di trieste che vive a Montreal da
anni e che anche vissuto per 2 anni a Hudson. Ci ha raccontato alcune storie divertenti.
Inoltre, il nostro primo relatore "La Storia Siamo Noi" è stato Henry Lemmetti. Siamo rimasti incuriositi e colpiti dal suo lavoro alla Concordia University.
Abbiamo offerto gratuitamente pasta al pesto, caffè e dolci per il nostro incontro di apertura.
Our first meeting of the new season was amazing. We had the wonderful Michael Feher Jazz Band playing while we ate, danced and caught up with each other. In between sets we had author Claudio Antonelli who lives in Montreal now, but spent a few years in Hudson. He shared some of his entertaining stories with us.
Also, our first "La Storia Siamo Noi" speaker was Henry Lemmetti . We were intrigued and impressed by his work at Concordia University.
We offered a free pesto pasta, and some coffee and sweets for our opening meeting.

Abbiamo celebrato il nostro ultimo incontro del primo anno con un barbecue con salsicce, hamburger, insalate e dolcetti per i nostri soci, e loro famiglie e i loro amici.
Il nostro relatore ospite, Binky di Flower Grocery ha parlato di giardinaggio, e le piante e fiori commestibili nei nostri giardini.
We celebrated our final meeting of the 1st year with a BBQ with sausages, burgers, salads and treats for our members and their family and friends.
